Hi, I am Mariia Sokor - Food photographer.

 Maria Sokor is a professional Food photographer and visual artist with a deep passion for capturing the beauty of culinary creations. Originally from Ukraine, she grew up in a suburb of Kyiv, where her love for food and visual storytelling began. Spending her childhood tending a garden and experimenting with growing fruits and vegetables, she developed a strong connection to food—not just as nourishment but as an art form.

Now based in Philadelphia, PA, Maria works throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and beyond. She collaborates with restaurants, brands, and publications, providing high-quality food photography services that showcase dishes with stunning detail and artistry.

Her journey into food photography started in 2016, blending her background in fine arts with a passion for storytelling. Holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Ukrainian National Academy of Arts, she brings a unique artistic perspective to every project. Her expertise in food styling photography, commercial food photography, and photo editing allows her to create visually compelling images that elevate brands and engage audiences.

Beyond photography, Maria is also the author of The Maria’s Cookbook featuring her own recipes and photography. This project reflects her deep love for food, creativity, and the emotional connections meals create.

Maria’s diverse portfolio includes work with leading food brands, magazines, and restaurants, highlighting her ability to adapt her artistic vision to different styles and concepts.
